The Personal Histories Project

Biography

Liz is a final year PhD student in Heritage Studies. Exploring contemporary community engagements with prehistoric archaeology in West Cornwall, she has relied upon qualitative interviewing as one of her own primary research methods. Liz first volunteered for Personal Histories as an undergraduate, serving tea at the 2008 and 2009 events! After returning to Cambridge for postgraduate research, she became more directly involved: maintaining and updating the extensive mailing list, sending out e-announcements, helping to transcribe interview recordings, and assisting with the 2012 events. Liz is currently helping to organise '100 Years of Arch & Anth at the University of Cambridge' for February 2015 – which promises to be a wonderful celebration!
